Indy Pride Awarded IndyGo Grant to Support Food Program

Indy Pride is grateful to receive a $1,000 grant from the IndyGo Foundation to help increase accessibility for our food access program, Feeding Joy. This support will allow us to provide IndyGo bus passes to community members picking up food boxes from our Near East Headquarters, which is accessible via Route 10 at the 10th Street and Gary stop.

The IndyGo Foundation’s mission is to connect people to their lives through accessible, equitable, and inclusive public transportation solutions. At Indy Pride, we’re proud to advance that mission by supporting the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ Hoosiers. Programs like Feeding Joy reflect our belief that community care is strongest when built through collaboration.

“Through our 2025–26 grant program, we’re proud to support nonprofit organizations advancing equity, mobility, and opportunity,” said Emily Meaux, Executive Director of the IndyGo Foundation. “These grants help ensure community-led solutions continue to thrive and that individuals and families can access the transit resources they need.”
