Indy Pride Celebrates 31 Years and a New Era for the LGBTQ+ Community
We are entering an exciting new chapter as we celebrate 31 years of uplifting, supporting, and uniting the LGBTQ+ community across Central Indiana.
Under the leadership of new Executive Director Jen Carruthers and Board Chair Alex Richardson, Indy Pride is re-engaging and reimagining what the next 30 years of the organization can look like through expanded programming, stronger community partnerships, and a renewed focus on representation, visibility, and belonging.
This year also marks the return of Indy Pride Festival to Military Park adding White River State Park, bringing the celebration back to the heart of downtown Indianapolis with an exciting entertainment lineup designed to reflect the diversity of our community.

As Jen shared during during this interview with WISH-TV:
“What Pride’s all about is making sure everyone sees a little bit of themselves in the work and the programs that we do throughout the year and at the festival.”
