This is what started it all. In 1981, a group of men decided to replace their annual Halloween party with a bus tour to surrounding area bars and restaurants. In the past 33 years, it has grown to include well over three buses, 100 people, and 19 stops over the course of the night!
How To Get Involved
Join the Bag Ladies for the 34th Annual Bus Tour! Registration is from 5:00 – 6:45 p.m. at Gregs Indy.
Buses will leave at 7:00 p.m. and tour through the City of Indianapolis. Buses will return to Gregs around 2:00 a.m.! You must register! Registration is $60.00 ($50.00 for Indy Pride members). Registration deadline is Monday, October 27! After October 27, Registration is $75 per person (if space is available)!
Proceeds from the Bus Tour will be donated to the Gregory Powers Direct Emergency Financial Assistance (DEFA) Fund!

The Bus Tour is a fundraiser for the Gregory Powers Direct Emergency Financial Assistance (DEFA) Fund, which provides emergency funds to those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS all across the state of Indiana. Due to the immense amount of support from the Bag Ladies and Indy Pride, both organizations sit on the committee that allocates the money to service organizations in 9 districts. Each person who rides the bus is encouraged to raise funds to go towards the overall total from registrations, sponsorship, and business fees.
The Bag Lady Bus Tour is an amazing way to raise much needed funds in this community, and it is a fun way, too.
